Evergreen's teaching structure is divided into various levels. They will guide you to the ideal level for your individual needs and standard.
The group lesson programs offer a smooth transition from total beginner through to advanced skier/snowboarder.
Group Lessons are enjoyable and provide a wonderful opportunity to meet new people!

- Hakuba Heroes Snowboard classes may be merged with Adult classes if the number of participants in that class is not sufficient.
If you'd like specific training (racing, moguls, park, powder etc), then Private Lessons may be more suitable for you.

Hakuba Hero Lesson Programs (7 to 14 years)
The Hakuba Heroes program teaches kids to ski while having fun and making friends with others their age.
Children are placed into groups based on their level and instructors discuss their progress with ski school managers daily to ensure they are always placed in the group most suitable to their needs.
Children can feel positive and proud of themselves as they see continual daily skill-development.
Your child will be taught under the safety of qualified Evergreen staff members who ensure they receive the best care possible.

Hakuba Hero Lessons - What to Expect
Yeti Ski Club Lesson Programs (3 to 6 years)
Yeti Club is all about getting kids into skiing while having a ton of fun – whether it’s their first time or they can already ski.
The children will be thrilled with their very own Kids Centre (for the 3-6-year-olds), their very own sheltered learning environment (now both indoor and out), and also a “magic carpet” area.
All programs have lunch inclusive. Your child will be taught in the safety of qualified Evergreen staff members who ensure they receive the best care possible.
The Yeti is a friendly hero. Come and learn all of the tricks of the trade with him at Evergreen's friendly Hakuba Ski School.

- Please make sure your children have the necessary ski equipment, outdoor clothing, goggles and helmet, gloves, warm clothes, well-fitting boots, etc. Evergreen does not operate snowsports equipment rentals

Flexi Week Saver - 7 days
Flexi-Week provides the flexibility to take part in full-day programs for up to 7 consecutive days for a similar price to that of 5 days.
That’s 2 free days up your sleeve to have a rest day, go on a cultural tour – or for you to use in ski school!
This is product is available for Child Group Lessons - Hero and Yuki
2023 / 24 Prices
- Reservations are strongly recommended
- All lessons begin and end at Evergreen International Ski School (Happo Base) on the slopes of Happo-one
- For multi-day discounts, lesson days must be continuous and must be purchased in the same transaction
- Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to your lesson start-time to register.
- Lessons include qualified ski/snowboard instructor (English speaking), insurance and tax
- Please bring lift pass, winter clothing, knit cap, gloves and goggles
- Kids need to have their own ski/snowboard gear. Evergreen does not operate snowsports equipment rentals
- Maximum 8x people per class

The ideal Ski In / Ski Out setup, located on Happo One's Kokusai Slope 100m up from the base of the Kokusai Lift, with the following amenities:

You can book Hakuba Platinum Experience, Group Lessons in Happo One and Private Lessons in Happo One, Iwatake, Tsugaike & Cortina through this Booking Form. Please check that you are selecting the right product.
We are currently only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
Booking Process
Please follow the steps below to book your lessons.
1) Click on the red "Book Now" button below and the booking window will open in a new tab in your browser
2) Select the correct category and lessons type (ski or snowboard)
2) Add all of the lessons that you require to your shopping cart.
3) Click on the "Next" button at the bottom right of the page
4) Enter your personal details (all fields with an * are mandatory) and click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom of the page
5) On the "Checkout" page, click on the green "Add New Group Member" button and add the names of each person in your group you are taking lessons, one by one
6) Assign the Group Members to each Lesson by clicking on the "Select Group Member" dropdown list under the Assign Group Members header and selecting the Guests to attend that lesson
7) Click on the red "Send Inquiry" Button at the bottom right
8) We will contact you by email with payment instructions once your booking request is confirmed.
Required Information
You will need to have the following information to hand for each lesson you would like to book:
- Discipline (Ski or Snowboard) - lessons must be all skiers or all snowboarders only
- Date - the date you would like the lesson to take place
- Duration - the number of days of lessons you would like - must be consecutive days.
- Ability Level - all participants should be a similar ability level for the best lesson outcome
- Accommodation - the name of your Hakuba accommodation
- Age - the age of the lesson participant
- Medical / Dietary - please specify if you have any allergies or medical needs
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required within 5 days of the booking request being confirmed.
Cancellation
- 15 days or more prior to the lesson date: 0% cancellation fee
- 8 to 14 days prior to the lesson date: 50% cancellation fee
- Within 7 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.
