Snowshoe Tours are a great way to experience a world away from the crowds and lift-lines, and explore the silence of Hakuba’s more removed areas.
The Hakuba area has endless trails on mountain ridges or through old forests and shrines, with truly some of the best alpine views in all of Japan.

As well as Group Half-Day and Private Half & Full Day Snowshoe Tours, we also offer Evening Snowshoe Tours with chocolate fondue.
Meeting Location
The meeting location for all snowshoe tours is the Evergreen Guiding Office in Lower Wadano neighbourhood of Wadano Village.

Snowshoe Group Tour
Experience a world away from the crowds and explore the silence of Hakuba’s more removed areas.
Join one of our friendly guides for a half day tour through the snowy forests of the valley.
Along the way you may see animal tracks, make snow angels and have some fun playing in the snow.
Depending on the weather, we may be able to go up one of the gondolas and see the beautiful views.

Showshoe Private Tour
Private tours are a great way to spend time with friends and family. Take the day at your pace and travel into some truly spectacular scenery with our private snowshoe tours. It is sometimes nice to take a break from the busy ski slopes and explore peaceful areas of the valley.
If you want to see magnificent panoramic alpine views then our Full Day Tour is for you. It includes the option to go up one of the gondolas and enjoy a hearty picnic lunch.
