We are currently only able to book guiding tours for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
Experience the thrill of leaving the more popular runs and hiking into the backcountry at Asahidake, or dropping into some amazing side-country at Furano – this tour can be fully customised to whatever you desire.
If you are keen, you can hike at sunrise, ski waist-deep powder with no one else in sight and then return to your accommodation for a relaxing onsen and tasty beverage.
Or we can take a visit to some of the great resorts dotted across Hokkaido, eat like kings and enjoy the journey with all its beautiful sights.
We can remain in the Niseko area and explore all the resorts in the area and further afield like Kiroro and Kokusai, or we can visit to Central Hokkaido and go to places like Furano, Asahi-dake, Kuro-dake and Tokachi-dake.

Who does this tour suit?
Central Hokkaido has some of the steepest and deepest zones in Japan – so if you’re an advanced skier or boarder, this is the tour for you!
However, there are also lots of fun resorts for beginner/intermediate shredders in Central Hokkaido as well.
As a result, this tour is perfect for groups of any size and any age, providing that the group is of a similar ability. We will tailor the tour to suit your needs, whether it be a fun on-piste family-oriented tour or an off-piste deep powder tour.
We will also ski and board at your level – you won’t feel like you’re being pushed above your comfort zone to keep up, nor will you be held back from unleashing your inner shredder.

Tour Details
Time
Tours usually commence from Niseko or Sapporo and we can customise this tour to go away for as many days as you like.
Please just let us know your desires and we will come up with a plan to ensure that you get the most out of your time.
Includes up to 8 hours guiding per day (includes travel time).
Photography
All of their guides are also professional photographers and if you wish, you can add photography or video to your tour and get magazine-quality photos of the day or a professionally produced short film with music.
These will be delivered within one week of your tour.
Transport
They'll pick you up from your accommodation or the airport and drop you back to wherever is most convenient for you. Their multi-day tours include transport, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy an onsen, dinner or even drinks after skiing.
What to bring
Please bring all your own ski attire and equipment.
All tours going off-piste need an avalanche safety pack, which includes a beacon, probe and shovel. If you don't have your own, we rent these for ¥4,000 per day.
You will also need to bring plenty of cash for lunch, water and other snacks while we are away.
