Overview

Yuzen is an ideal chalet for larger groups of families and friends to get together. The desire to escape to some quiet time in Niseko's beautiful nature inspired the name Yuzen, which means "with a calm air". A sweeping curved roofline caps the strong structural elements, with louvers to add visual depth and warmth.

The whole top floor was planned for entertaining large groups, with a large living, dining, kitchen and media room. Step out onto the covered terrace area for summer BBQs, or to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in winter.

The large kitchen is the centerpiece of the room, making it a wonderful space for interacting with everyone while cooking up a feast. The kitchen features a wine cellar, Miele oven, microwave and full size dishwasher, as well as combination cooktop with both induction heating and gas.

Serve up dinner on the custom Japanese camphor wood table, and cap off the evening while relaxing in front of the gas fireplace.

Yuzen has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, including the four person bunk room and two person helper room.

The most private sleeping space is the serene tatami room on the ground floor, which sleeps three. A horigotatsu (sunken) table can also be set in the tatami room, the perfect place to drink tea or enjoy some card games.

After a long day of exploring, immerse and refresh your tired body in the beautiful onsen style bath. Large enough for multiple people to soak together, you can gaze out at the tranquil birch forest.

Yuzen has a single car garage with road heating for convenience in winter, as well as a dry room.

This accommodation is new to our range but is located next to Hokkaidaway on the location map.

Located in the quiet neighborhood St. Moritz in Kabayama, Yuzen is only two minutes drive and about 15 minutes walk to Niseko-Hirafu Village.

The Hirafu Free Shuttle Bus stops in St. Moritz during winter, an added convenience for getting to and from the lifts, and also if you want to enjoy a few drinks with dinner out.

Also within easy walking distance are the popular restaurant and deli Lupicia, Green Saso Cafe, and the Gentem Cafe and snowboard shop.

An ideal location if you want to be away from the busy centre of Hirafu, surrounded by the tranquillity of the Niseko woods but within walking distance (1.3km) of Hirafu village, in the peaceful forest of St. Moritz.
