- Upper Wadano offers plenty of space for kids to play in a beautiful forest setting and offers easy access to the gentle family-friendly Sakka ski slopes.
- Lower Wadano is the best of both worlds with a peaceful forest setting combined with easy access to the amenities of Happo One village, including the Evergreen ski school and daycare facility.
- Happo One village is Hakuba's central hub, offering a choice of ski in / ski out convenience & ski school access in the slopeside area, open space in the Mizuho area, or off-the-beaten-path tranquility in the Norway Forest Village area.
- Tsugaike, Goryu and Echoland are all fine choices for families and have a few especially family-friendly accommodations to choose from.
