Group lessons are designed to cater to all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced riders, providing a fun and supportive learning environment.
Progress at your own pace and benefit from the experiences of your fellow students. You'll make new friends and have a blast on the slopes while learning to ride like a pro.

Adult Lessons (13 yrs+)
Adult lessons are open to individuals aged 13 and up, and group size is limited to a maximum of 8 students to ensure personalized attention from expert instructors.
Hakuba Snow Sports School offers group lessons in levels 1 to 5 to ensure that all our customers are learning with others of similar abilities.
For those seeking advanced or specialized instruction, Level 6 lessons are available through private instruction.
Child Lessons
Children's lessons are designed to provide a safe and fun environment for children aged 5-12 years old to learn skiing and 7-12 years old to learn snowboarding.
For children who do not meet the age criteria for these groups please follow the links below to see what we can offer them in the way of lessons.
Children's lessons are well-organized, fun and are structured to cater to complete beginners through to advanced levels, with children grouped into classes of similar ability from levels 1 to 5.
Please note that Level 6 lessons are only available through private instruction.
Expert instructors incorporate fun and learning into each lesson to ensure that your children learn to be safe and competent on the slopes and become independent skiers and snowboarders.
With a maximum of 8 children per group, we provide personalized attention to each child to ensure that they receive the best possible instruction.
2024 / 25 Prices
- Group Lessons are offered every day from 14th December 2024 to 31st March 2025.
- Class sizes are limited to maximum of 8 participants
- Please be ready 45 minutes prior to lesson start time as lessons will leave on time
- Lesson prices do not include lift tickets or equipment rentals.

Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required within 5 days of the booking request being confirmed.
Cancellation
- 14 days or more prior to the lesson date: 0% cancellation fee (payment is refunded*)
- Within 14 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

We are only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
Please enter your Samurai Snow Reservation Number provided to you when you booked your accommodation in the form below and we will email booking instructions to you.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
We are not able to book 7 days or fewer before the start date.
