Private Taxi Transfers are the most convenient and fastest option for transfer from Nagano to Hakuba.
Upon your arrival at Nagano train station, the driver will meet you in the station, carry your bags to the vehicle and drop you off at your check-in location in Hakuba.
For your departure from Hakuba to Nagano, the driver will collect you from your accommodation and drop you off at Nagano Station or your Nagano Hotel.
Private jumbo taxi vehicle transfers must be booked in advance and cannot be arranged at the station. The station has a taxi rank but only offers sedan taxis with drop off in the local area.

Availability of this service for short notice bookings is likely to be limited or not available.
2025 / 26 Prices
- Prices shown are in Japanese Yen and are based on one-way transfer between Nagano Station and Hakuba and include a 5% booking fee.
- Late night and early morning surcharge of JPY ¥5,000 will be applied for taxi pick up time between 22:00 and 05:00
- There are two tiers of pricing depending on where you are staying from Goryu village at one end of the Hakuba Valley, right the way through to Cortina at the other end.
- For Taxis from Nagano Station, there is no charge for delays on 0-30 mins, for delays of 30-60 min a JPY ¥4,300 waiting fee for Medium Taxis and JPY ¥6,200 for Jumbo Taxis. No show after 60 min leads to automatic cancellation with no refund.
- Recommended pick up time for Hakuba to Nagano Station is 2 hours before train departure time.

Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required to complete the booking
Cancellation
- 75 days or more prior to the transfer date: 25% cancellation fee applies
- 40 to 74 days prior to the transfer date: 50% cancellation fee applies
- 21 to 39 days prior to the transfer date: 80% cancellation fee applies
- Within 21 days of the transfer date: 100% cancellation fee applies
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.

Booking Lead Time: We are unable to accept or process bookings submitted 7 days or fewer before the start date. Please submit your request at least 8 days in advance.
Please Note: Submissions without a valid Samurai Snow Accommodation Reservation Number cannot be processed. If you have not booked accommodation with us, please book your transfers directly through local resort vendors.
