Solitude Chalet has just been renovated with a state of the art kitchen, 3 new bathrooms, & gorgeous custom made teak furniture making it one of the nicest chalets in Hakuba.

Three of the bedrooms can be set up with a king bed or two singles while the 4th room has a bunk bed. So it’s a great place for big groups of friends or even a couple of families.

Location

Solitude is a 4 bedroom chalet that sits in a beautiful location with the best views of any chalet in town.

As the name suggests, it sits on its own in the rice fields right beside Happo Village.

Its a beautiful yet convenient location; walking distance to the Happo Lifts, free shuttle bus hub, & the restaurants, bars & onsens of Happo Village & Echoland.

Booking Terms

Payments

  • 40% Non-Refundable Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
  • 60% Non-Refundable Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before the check in date

Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
  • 76 or more days before check in date - deposit payment is not refundable but will be held as a credit for a future booking at the same property
  • Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies (Deposit & Balance Payments are non-refundable)

Transferability

  • Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation.
  • Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodaiton booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
  • It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.

Minimum Nights

  • Each booking must be for a minimum stay of 7x nights. Exceptions can be made by the property owner, on a discretionary basis, for shorter booking requests that fill a gap between existing confirmed bookings.

Date Changes

  • Stay date change may be considered within the same winter season
  • Request for stay date changes must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form more than 14 days before check in date and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered

Check In / Out

  • Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is from 10:00
  • Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
  • Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
