Tours can cater for all standards; from aspiring riders hoping to try their first powder run to full fledged backcountry fanatics.
With a small guide to guest ratio of 1:4, their team of highly trained guides are able to tailor the tour to your goals and ability and give you the best Niseko experience possible.
First Tracks
Each tour includes their ‘First Tracks’ service, allowing you access to Hanazono’s incredible ski runs before the lifts open to the public.
Then, stay ahead of the crowds as your guide leads you through the best powder pockets that only the experienced locals know about.

- Tours run from 5th December 2026 to 4th April 2027 - depending on snow conditions.

2026 / 27 Prices
Tour Schedule
6:50am - 7:00am: Early starts are part of the fun when you are chasing fresh tracks! Pick up times are quite early in order to make the most of their ‘First Tracks’
7:15am: A comprehensive safety briefing for the day is given that includes use of avalanche safety equipment.
7:30am - 1:30pm: Time to shred that powder! The guide will be entirely flexible regarding breaks for snacks and lunch depending on what suits the guest.
1:30pm - 2:00pm: After a big day on the mountain your driver will take you back to your accommodation for you or you can ski back to your accommodation to enjoy a well deserved rest or more powder!
What to Bring Along
- Powder skis or powder board. Ski poles with powder baskets are also strongly recommended
- Face mask and neck warmer
- Warm and well-fitting gloves
- Helmet and goggles
HPG Booking Details
- 5 participants will be required to book a tail guide ¥190,000 (¥130,000 + ¥60,000 / per day). If all 5 participants are level 4 or above, they can choose to take the tour with 1 guide (¥130,000 + ¥20,000 / per day).
- 6-7 participants will be required to book a tail guide regardless of their off-piste ability level, ¥190,000 (¥130,000 + ¥60,000 / per day).
- 8 participants need to have 2 lead guides (¥130,000 x 2 = ¥260,000).
- Please provide a contact phone number for your group at the time of booking
- Niseko United All Mountain Pass need to be arranged by participants. Please prepare it a day prior to the tour.
- Guests aged 12-15 need an accompanying guardian
- Guests aged 16-17 need a written waiver from a guardian
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required to complete the booking
Cancellation
- 31 days or more prior to the lesson date: 25% cancellation fee (75% of the total booking price will be refunded*)
- Within 30 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee (no refund is provided)
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Winter service bookings are strictly reserved for guests who have booked their accommodation directly through Samurai Snow.
If you have a confirmed accommodation booking, please enter your Samurai Snow Reservation Details below. We will email you direct access to our booking portal along with step-by-step booking instructions.
Booking Lead Time: We are unable to accept or process bookings submitted 7 days or fewer before the start date. Please submit your request at least 8 days in advance.
Please Note: Submissions without a valid Samurai Snow Accommodation Reservation Number cannot be processed. If you have not booked accommodation with us, please book your guiding tours directly through local resort vendors.
