Booking Terms
Payments
- 50% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
- 50% Balance Payment required no later than 100 days before the check in date
- A security deposit of ¥2,000,000 is required in addition to accommodation Deposit and Balance Payments. This will be refunded 7 days following check out.
Cancellation
- Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
- 101 or more days before check in date - 50% cancellation fee applies
- Within 100 days of check in date, 100% cancellation fee applies
Date Changes
- Stay date change may be considered within the same winter season
- Request for stay date changes must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form more than 14 days before check in date and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered
Transferability
- Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building).
- Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodaiton booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
- It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.
Gap Management
- Booking requests may not be accepted if the new booking requested leaves a gap of fewer nights than the minimum nights stay required for the gap in question.
- Booking requests that leave a gap are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- The right to decline a booking request is reserved, even if the dates are available.
- Booking requests are not confirmed until a deposit is paid and you receive an email from Samurai Snow confirming the booking.
Check In / Out
- Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is from 10:00
- Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
- Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
Smoking
- The property has a non-smoking policy inside the home. Smoking areas with heating are available on the terraces outside.
- Violation of the smoking policy will result in a cleaning and service charge of 100% of the rental charge for the stay. This is due to the need to keep the property vacant for 1 week while professional cleaners remove smoke from the property
