Location

Located in the Goryu area of the Hakuba Valley, outside of Kamishiro village, surrounded by open fields with room to breathe and sweeping views.

Getting Around

Given the off-the-beaten track location of this accommodation, we strongly recommend hiring a vehicle to get around.

Please make these arrangements as early as you can as it can be difficult to hire a vehicle at short notice due to availability contraints.

There is no ski lift shuttle servince included with this property and assistance in booking local taxis is not provided.

Having your own vehicle provides the freedom to stock up on groceries, dine out in the evenings and day trip to other ski resorts in the Hakuba Valley.

Arrival & Departure

  • These services are subject to availability and need to be booked no later than 7 days in advance to guarantee your preferred times.

Pick up / drop off service hours may be subject to change. However, personalised pre-trip planning assistance will be provided to ensure your smooth arrival and departure.

Goryu

The combined Goryu & Hakuba 47 ski area offers a good variety of piste runs, freestyle park features, a small amount of off-piste tree runs and extensive backcountry terrain.

Located at the base of the Goryu side, Kamishiro is a picturesque woodland village with a few authentic local restaurants.

Payments

  • 25% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
  • 75% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before the check in date

Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
  • 76 or more days before check in date - 25% cancellation fee applies
  • Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies

Transferability

  • Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building). 
  • Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodaiton booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
  • It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.

Check In / Out

  • Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is from 10:00
  • Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
  • Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
