Booking Terms
These terms apply to all rate plans
Payments
- 25% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
- 75% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before the check in date
Cancellation
- Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
- 75 or more days before check in date - 25% cancellation fee applies
- Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies
Check-In requirements
- Guest Registration: In accordance with Japanese law and property rules, full guest registration details (including passport copies and arrival transfer information) must be submitted at least 14 days prior to check-in.
- Credit Card Security: Upon arrival, the lead guest must present a valid physical credit card for a ¥100 verification check (immediately refunded) to be held on file for security and incidental purposes.
Property Protection
- Smoking: there is a strict “NO SMOKING POLICY” within this accommodation. A JPY 300,000 fine applies for smoking inside properties, and management reserves the right to evict guests without refund.
- Pets: Strictly no pets permitted.
- Excessive Cleaning: Guests must leave the property tidy: dishes cleaned, garbage disposed of properly, and furniture returned to original positions. Excessive cleaning will incur a minimum charge of JPY 100,000.
- Damage: Guests accept responsibility for any damage caused to accommodation beyond normal wear and tear during their stay and will be charged for the full cost of replacement or repair. An inspection of the property will be completed after check-out and if any damage is found, it will be documented and photographed. Damage that prevents subsequent reservations will result in compensation being charged equal to the lost booking value.
- Lost Keys: Lost or unreturned keys will incur a replacement fee of JPY 15,000 per key.
- Occupancy Limits: Exceeding the confirmed maximum guest capacity without prior written consent will result in additional surcharges or refusal of entry without refund.
Transferability
- Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building).
- Unless specifically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodation booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
- It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.
Date Changes
- Stay date change may be considered within the same winter season on a case by case basis.
Check In / Out
- Check in time is from 15:00 and check out time is until 10:00. Unapproved late check-outs after 10:15 will incur additional hourly or daily charges
- Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
- Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
