Booking Terms
Payments
- 25% Non-Refundable Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
- 75% Non-Refundable Balance Payment required no later than 29th May 2026
Cancellation
- Until 29th May 2026 - 25% cancellation fee applies (Deposit Payment is non-refundable)
- From 30th May 2026 onwards - 100% cancellation fee applies (Deposit & Balance Payments are non-refundable)
Security Deposit & Property Protection
To ensure these premium properties are maintained to the highest standard for all guests, a security deposit of ¥500,000 (JPY) is required for this accommodation.
- Security Guarantee: As the travel agent, Samurai Snow requires a credit card pre-authorization to be completed prior to arrival. This is a temporary hold of funds and not a debit from your account.
- On-site Registration: Upon arrival, the Property Manager will require a credit card to be presented for registration and incidentals. This card serves as the primary method for settling any property-related costs or damages incurred during your stay.
- Damage & Loss: The lead guest agrees to be responsible for the cost of any damage, loss, or specialty cleaning fees (including smoking fines). The Samurai Snow pre-authorization serves as a supplemental security guarantee should the on-site card be insufficient or should claims remain unresolved after departure. By completing the pre-authorization, the guest acknowledges that these funds may be captured in the event of unresolved damages or property rule violations reported by the property manager.
- Release: The Samurai Snow pre-authorization hold is manually released following a successful post-stay inspection by the property management team.
Full instructions on how to complete this security bond will be provided via email during the booking process. We recommend all guests maintain comprehensive travel insurance.
Transferability
- Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building).
- Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodation booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
- It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.
Date Changes
- Stay date change may be considered within the same winter season on a case by case basis.
Changes / Cancellation Requests
- Request for stay date changes or cancellation must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered
