Strikingly modern, these 3 Bedroom two-storey properties are nestled in the beautiful Wadano Forest of Hakuba just metres from the Sakka Ski Slope.

Surrounded by luxury, Solar Chalets offer the latest in accommodation for the discerning traveller and are available at special introductory rates for the coming season. 

Intermediate skiers and snowboarders can access the ski slope by crossing the road and skiing down to the Sakka Kitaone Quad Lift.

Skiing and Snowboarding students can then take the Sakka Kitaone Quad Lift and ski down to the Evergreen Ski School.

It is also possible to ski back to the building by exiting the northern end of the Sakka ski field and skiing through the trees.

  • Ski Shuttle to Happo One ski area (Kokusai lifts for Evergreen Lessons, Nakiyama lifts & Adam Gondola), Iwatake ski area and Happo One Bus Terminal (for public shuttle services to other ski areas) between 08:00 & 10:00 in the morning and 14:30 & 16:30 in the afternoon.
  • Service much to be reserved the evening before.

Arrival & Departure

  • Complimentary Hakuba Station or Happo Bus Stop pick up and drop off provided for arrival and departure between 07:00 and 22:00 daily. This service must be booked at least 3 days in advance and is subject to availability.
  • Guests arriving / departing from / to Nagano can book taxi transfers in advance, take the public bus or hire a car and drive.

Booking Terms

Rate Plans

Bookings can be made EITHER at the Discount Rate Plan OR the Flexi Rate Plan but not both.

The Discounted Rate Plan is not available for bookings that include any dates from 27th December 2026 to 3rd January 2027 OR from to 11th to 6th February 2027.

The pricing shown is at the Discount Rate Plan for the stay dates where the Discounted Rate Plan is applicable.

For booking requests with some stay dates where the Discount Rate Plan could apply and some dates where the Discount Rate Plan cannot apply, only the Flexi Rate Plan is available to book. In these instances, the price will be higher than the price shown.

Discount Rate Plan

Payments

  • 25% Refundable Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
  • 75% Balance Payment required no later than 25th June 2026

Cancellation

  • Up until 25th June 2026 - 0% cancellation fee applies - Deposit Payment is refunded*
  • From 26th June 2026 onwards - 100% cancellation fee applies

Flexi Rate Plan

Payments

  • 25% Refundable Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
  • 75% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before check in

Cancellation

  • 75 days or more before check in - 0% cancellation fee applies - Deposit Payment is refunded
  • Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies

Refunds

  • Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount that you paid due to exchange rate fluctuations

Transferability

  • Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building). 
  • Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodaiton booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
  • It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.

Check In / Out

  • Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is from 10:00
  • Early check-in and late check-out may be available subject to availability & additional fees
