GoSnow is the official international snowsports school of Niseko Grand Hirafu Resort. Our ski and snowboard lessons are conducted in English by a team of professional and accredited instructors from all over the world.
Based in the main village of Hirafu, GoSnow is conveniently located at the Hirafu Gondola providing easy access to the mountain and our dedicated magic carpet learning area.

Child Group Lessons
Let them spark your child’s love for snowsports!
Their children’s instructors are passionate about snowsports and passing this love on to the next generation of skiers & boarders. They have developed our children’s programs into three categories that best suit the development and physical needs of each age group.
GoSnow Locations
GoSnow is based in the main village of Hirafu with two convenient locations at the Gondola Base & Family Base.
Group Lessons are only available at the Gondola Base location.
Private Lessons are available at either Gondola Base or Family Base.
Ninja Kids
Ages 3-6, Ski only
Watch your child’s confidence and love for the snow grow in the Ninja Kids program which has been developed for young skiers aged 3-6 years with safety and fun in mind.
Ninja Kids new to the sport will benefit from their own dedicated Learning Area and Magic Carpet, while experienced skiers will have the easiest access to Grand Hirafu's beginner slopes.

Yama Riders
Ages 7-14, Ski & Board
Yama Riders is all about keeping kids safe while they have fun learning new skills while exploring the entire Niseko United resort.
Beginner level Yama Riders will have access to an exclusive learning area while advanced riders will enjoy riding the entire Niseko United Resort.
The Yama Riders program also includes a weekly Kids Fun Race and a Kids Passport to help track progress.

Book GoSnow Child Group Lessons
You can book Ninja Kids Group Lessons, Yama Riders Group Lessons, Adult Group Lessons, Workshops & Private Lessons through the Booking Portal. Please check that you are selecting your preferred lesson product.
We are currently only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
Booking Process
Please follow the steps below to book your lessons.
1) Click on the red "Book Now" button below and the booking window will open in a new tab in your browser
2) Add all of the lessons that you require to your shopping cart.
3) Click on the "Next" button at the bottom right of the page
4) Enter your personal details (all fields with an * are mandatory) and click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom of the page
5) On the "Checkout" page, click on the green "Add New Group Member" button and add the names of each person in your group you are taking lessons, one by one
6) Assign the Group Members to each Lesson by clicking on the "Select Group Member" dropdown list under the Assign Group Members header and selecting the Guests to attend that lesson
7) Click on the red "Send Inquiry" Button at the bottom right
8) We will contact you by email with payment instructions once your booking request is confirmed.
Required Information
You will need to have the following information to hand for each lesson you would like to book:
- Lesson Type - Ninja Kids Ski, Yama Riders Ski or Yama Riders Snowboard
- Date - the date of your lesson or, if booking multiple days, the date for the first day of your lessons
- Number of Days - the number of days you are booking lessons for, if they are on consecutive days
- Ability Level - specify the child's ability level to ensure they are with other kids of a similar ability
- Name of Child - the name of the child you are booking the lesson for - if you have multiple children wanting lessons, please make 1x lesson booking per child
- Age of Child - the age of the child in the lesson
- Lunch requirements - if your child has dietary preference (gluten free, dairy free or nut free) or is vegetarian
- Allergy/Medical - if your child has allergies or dietary requirements or Medial requirements - you can specify them here
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required to complete the booking
Cancellation
- 31 days or more prior to the lesson date: 25% cancellation fee
- Within 30 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.
