Overview

Formerly one of Hakuba's most popular ski lodges, this property is now exclusively available for private hire for large groups.

Hakuba House is a 9-room self-contained property with a mix of King/Twin, Triple & Quad rooms catering for large groups of up to 25 people.

The property enjoys ski-in/out access to Happo-One ski resort and is equipped with a wet bar/lounge with wood stove fireplace making it a great place to enjoy your perfect ski vacation.

Located in the forest of upper Wadano, you can enjoy the privacy and seclusion our location boasts with the convenience our complimentary vehicle provides.

With 600 m2 of floorspace, direct access to the mountain and dedicated areas for entertainment and relaxing, you can get all the crew together in one space rather than spread out across a bunch of different ones. 

The Rooms

Basic clean rooms are the name of the game at HH. All rooms have a small unit bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

All rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, toiletries, towels & bedding.

Heating is provided via a coil fan heater to keep you warm at night.

Kitchen & Dining

Hakuba House has a fully equipped commercial kitchen available for use during your stay so you can stock it full of groceries from the supermarket and be free to whip up food any time of the day, everyday.

The dining room seats up to 20 people so the whole group can dine together. Alternatively, there are delivery options for dinner or you can take it easy and head out to a restaurant on nights you don't want to cook for yourself.

Either way you can make the decision that best suits your group.

Bar & Lounge

Equipped with a wet bar, pool table and stylish wood fireplace, along with various sofas to relax and unwind on, the Hakuba House Bar & Lounge area is the perfect place to unwind and socialize in after a day on the slopes.

Beer taps, a solid stereo system and all the necessary equipment are provided. No need to worry about noise complaints or early finishes here!

A relaxation room filled with Yogibo beanbags, soft rollers and other stretching equipment along with a dedicated workspace is conveniently located adjacent to the bar & lounge.

        Hakuba House

        Overview

        A comfortable and friendly ski lodge only 180m from Happo One ski fields. The lodge is above the chair lifts of Happo One Hakuba and is virtually ski in / ski out.

        Most skiers and riders can ski right to the front door and more often than not ski down to the Sakka chair lifts. Otherwise it’s just 180m (2 mins) walk to the entry point of the Happo One ski area.

        Right next door to Hakuba House on one side you have a Japanese traditional Onsen and right next door on the other side the only Private Onsen in Hakuba – ideal for those who are a little apprehensive about their first onsen experience.

        Payments

        • 35% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
        • 76% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before the check in date

        Cancellation

        • Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
        • 76 or more days before check in date - 35% cancellation fee applies
        • Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies

        Date Changes

        • Stay date change may be considered within the same winter season
        • Request for stay date changes must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form more than 14 days before check in date and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered

        Check In / Out

        • Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is from 10:00
        • Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
        • Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
